Refunds & Returns
Food is a one-way trip, so we can't take seasonings back. But if your order shows up damaged, wrong or not at all, we'll make it right.
All sales are final
For health and safety reasons, we can’t accept returns on food products, opened or unopened.
Damaged, defective or wrong items
If something arrives damaged, defective or isn’t what you ordered, email us at hello@deadkernelz.com within 10 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- What went wrong
- Photos of the product and the box it came in
Once we’ve had a look, we’ll send a replacement at no cost to you or issue a refund. Every request is reviewed one at a time, and we may limit or decline requests that look excessive or fraudulent.
Missing or lost packages
If your tracking says delivered but you can’t find your order, check around your door, with neighbors and with your mail room, and give it a day in case the carrier marked it early. Still missing? Email us and we’ll work with the carrier to sort it out. Packages that are lost in transit get the same help.
Wrong address
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We can’t be responsible for orders sent to an address entered incorrectly. If a package comes back to us, we’ll reach out so we can reship it (with shipping charged again) or refund the product cost.
Canceling an order
Changed your mind? Email us as soon as you can. If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we’ll cancel it and refund you in full. Once it has shipped, it can’t be canceled.
How refunds work
- Approved refunds go back to your original payment method.
- Once we issue a refund, it usually shows up within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
- Shipping charges are refunded when the mistake was ours.
- Items bought on sale or with a discount code are covered by this policy the same way, and the refund is the amount you actually paid.
